Build Your Way to the Sun

Planet Merge gives you a small circular space to combine planets. Drop one planet at a time, bring matching planets together, and watch them turn into larger worlds. Keep the chain going until you reach the final goal: the Sun. The catch is that planets don't simply stop where they land. Gravity affects their movement, so a drop that looks safe can send another planet rolling somewhere you didn't expect.

How to Play

Use your mouse to aim and launch each planet. Two matching planets merge when they touch, creating the next planet in the sequence. As the planets grow, they take up more room, making it harder to find safe places for new drops.

Think Before You Drop

A quick launch can create problems several moves later. Before releasing a planet, look at the planets already sitting below it and consider where they may move after the impact. Try to keep smaller planets together rather than scattering them around the board. A well-planned merge can clear space and set up the next combination at the same time.

Don't Let the Board Overflow

Space becomes the biggest problem as larger planets appear. If a planet reaches the edge and leaves the circular play area, the run ends. Avoid building a tall, unstable pile. When one side becomes crowded, use your next few drops to create merges and open some room before adding more planets.

What Makes Planet Merge Fun?

  • Simple controls – Aim and launch with the mouse.
  • Planet evolution – Combine matching planets to create larger ones.
  • Physics-based movement – Gravity and collisions affect every drop.
  • Chain reactions – One merge can move nearby planets and create another opportunity.
  • High-score challenge – Try to reach the Sun without running out of space.

The early drops are easy to manage, but the board gets much less forgiving once the larger planets start appearing. Good placement, patience, and a little planning can turn a crowded board into another successful merge.

Reach the Sun

Planet Merge is easy to understand but gives you plenty to think about once the board fills up. Keep the planets under control, make room for future merges, and see whether you can complete the chain all the way to the Sun.
