A Labubu with the wrong hat or a slightly different face just doesn't look the same. That's what makes Labubu Match Up interesting. You get a character to copy and a selection of parts to choose from. The job is to look carefully, compare the details, and put together a matching design.
There are plenty of little details to check before a character is finished. Fur colour, clothing, eyes, ears, facial features, hats, and teeth all have their own selections. Changing one piece can give the character a noticeably different appearance.
The Collection Book is another reason to keep going. It contains 137 designs: 108 regular sets, 23 Secret sets, and six Bonus sets. Some options remain unavailable at first, so completing regular collections is how new parts gradually become accessible.
After every 10 collected sets, you can spend time with one of three mini games. Memory Match is about finding pairs, Spot the Difference asks you to notice tiny changes, and Mini Sudoku offers number puzzles with Labubu artwork. The Sudoku challenges include 4×4 and 6×6 grids.
These activities also help unlock extra decorations. There are 13 in total, made up of seven scenes and six props. The Decorate studio lets you put collected pieces together and create a display for the Home screen and leaderboard.

What I like about Labubu Match Up is that mistakes don't feel like a big deal. You can take your time checking the reference, change a part, and compare the result again. The small reactions when a character is completed add a nice touch without interrupting the puzzle. It works well for a short break, especially if collecting cute designs is more appealing than competing against a timer.
