Start With Food, Then Pick Your Fights

You begin Blobade as a tiny blob with almost nothing going for you. The easiest way to get stronger is to open the food chests scattered around the arena. They give you the resources needed to increase your size, health, level, and score. Don't rush into a fight right away. A bigger blob can take you out quickly, so spend the opening part of the match getting stronger and checking who is nearby.

When It Is Worth Attacking

Once your blob has grown, you can start looking for weaker opponents. Move toward them with the mouse and use a slash when you're close enough. For a little more reach, hold the left mouse button to charge your dash, then release it to make your move. A missed attack can leave you in a bad position. If another player is waiting nearby, you may become the target instead. Sometimes backing away is the better play.

Don't Ignore the Shrinking Arena

The map doesn't remain the same size for the whole match. As the boundary closes in, players have fewer places to run, hide, or avoid a fight. This changes the pace quite a bit. Early in the round, you can spend time looking for food. Later, blobs are pushed into the same areas and fights become much harder to avoid. Keep an eye on the boundary and avoid getting stuck against the outside edge.

Three Ways to Play

You can enter a public match and compete against other players, practice offline against AI, or create a private room for friends. Each option suits a different kind of session. Offline play is useful for getting used to movement and attacks, while public matches add the unpredictability of real opponents.

Build an Advantage

Gold earned during matches can be used for upgrades, giving you something to work toward beyond a single round. A good run isn't just about getting a few eliminations. Collecting food early, choosing sensible fights, and staying out of trouble when the arena closes can all make a difference.

Blobade is at its best when you stop trying to fight everything you see. Grow first, watch the other blobs, and wait for an opening. Then make your move.
