Ragdoll Sandbox is a 3D physics sandbox where you can put objects into a scene and see how they interact with ragdolls. You are not given one task to finish. Instead, you can build a setup, change a few settings, and see what happens when you start it.
Press F to open the item menu and choose what you want to add. There are cannons, mines, lasers, cars, fans, black holes, jump pads, Telepads, glass, and destructible pillars.
You can place these items wherever you want. For example, put a fan near a ragdoll and see where it pushes the character. Add a cannon, then place another object in its path. A few objects can quickly turn into a chain reaction.
Some items have adjustable properties, so you can change them and run the same setup again. Gravity and other world settings can also affect how the objects move. This is where most of the experimenting comes from. There is no guarantee that a setup will behave exactly as expected.
Sandbox gives you the most freedom. Build a scene from scratch and test whatever idea you have.
Mini-Games gives you smaller challenges instead of completely open-ended building.
Explorer starts you in pre-built environments, so you can look around and experiment without making the whole scene yourself.
The fun comes from testing things rather than finding one correct answer. You might make a simple setup and get an unexpected result, then change the position or properties of an object and try again. Sandbox is better when you want complete freedom, while Mini-Games are a better fit when you want a clear task.
Explorer sits somewhere between the two, giving you ready-made places to play with.
