Bat Smash 2 is all about one thing: hitting a cricket ball as far as possible. There is no full cricket match to worry about. You simply wait for the right moment, swing the bat, and watch the ball travel across the landscape.
A good hit can send the ball a long way, while a poorly timed swing leaves you wishing you had waited another second. The farther the ball goes, the more coins you can earn for improving your setup.
The swing is controlled with the Left Mouse Button. Before each hit, an arrow moves across a timing bar. Try to release the swing when the indicator reaches the green area. That is your best chance of making solid contact and adding more distance to the shot.
There is also more to aim for than the ball's final distance. Billboards stand in the flight path, and a well-placed shot can smash them on the way down. Hitting these targets adds another small challenge to each attempt.
At first, getting a decent distance is fairly easy. Improving a personal record takes more care. A small timing mistake can noticeably change the result, so watching the indicator before every swing is worthwhile.
Coins earned from your shots can be spent on upgrades. Improving Ball Fly, Power, and Ball Bounce helps push future attempts further. New bats become available as you level up, giving progression another reason to keep working on your distance.
Bat Smash 2 also has different balls and characters to collect. Challenge trophies can unlock special balls, while diamonds can be used to unlock additional characters. Diamonds can be collected during flights and through challenges, so exploring the different ways to earn them can speed up your progress.
The game works well for short sessions because each attempt only takes a moment. It is also easy to keep playing when chasing a better distance or trying to improve an upgrade.
