Super Mario Bros: Classic Side-Scrolling Platformer – Save the Princess

Super Mario Bros is the original side-scrolling platformer where you play as plumber Mario jumping through the Mushroom Kingdom's colorful levels to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser. Run right, stomp Goombas and Koopas, grab coins from bricks, and hit flagpoles at the end of each world. Simple to start, endless to master with secrets, power-ups, and precise jumps.

How to Play – Jump, Stomp, Flagpole

Mario runs right through 32 levels across 8 worlds.

Smash ? blocks for coins/mushrooms, break bricks for stars.
Stomp enemies or kick shells to clear paths.
Fall in pits or touch lava/Bowser? Lose a life, restart level.
Power-ups hidden in blocks – grab 'em for Super Mario (bigger/tougher) or Fire Mario (throw fireballs).
World 1-1 teaches basics; later worlds add pipes, moving platforms, bosses. Beat Bowser 8 times to win.

Tips to Clear Worlds Fast

Jump on Koopa shells to bounce between enemies – chain kills.

World 8 speedrun: Skip levels with warp pipes/whistles.
