Skip It! is all about one thing: getting a stone as far across the water as possible. You charge the throw, choose the angle, and let it fly. After that, you can still move it from side to side to avoid things in the way. The first few throws are easy enough. Then the stone starts moving faster, obstacles become harder to avoid, and a bad turn can end a good run.

Throwing the Stone

Hold the left mouse button to build power. Drag down to change the angle, then let go. A low angle usually gives the stone more chances to bounce. A higher angle sends it farther through the air, but you may lose some skips. Once the stone is moving, drag left or right to adjust its path. Power gates are useful because they give the stone another burst of speed. Logs and buoys are best avoided completely. Touch one and the run is over.

Controls

  • Hold Left Mouse Button: Charge
  • Drag Down: Adjust the throw
  • Release: Launch
  • Drag Left / Right: Change direction

Use Coins Wisely

Longer throws earn more coins. Those coins can be spent on upgrades for the stone. Skipping makes it bounce for longer, strength helps with the initial throw, and speed keeps the run moving. If you're struggling to get past a certain distance, upgrading the stat that matches your problem is usually more useful than spreading coins everywhere.

A Simple Game That Takes Practice

There isn't much to learn before your first throw. Getting consistently far is another matter. The launch angle, bounce timing, steering, and obstacle placement all affect the result. One run might end almost immediately. The next can go much farther with only a small change to the throw. That makes each attempt useful for learning what works. The game can be played directly in the browser, with the playable version monitored for compatibility and performance.
